IMPORTANT information

What is this?

This second DG-GT e.V. Academy will be a workshop on virotherapy and oncolytic viruses for PhD students, MD/PhD students, MD students with experimental project or early postdocs whose project is related to the topic.

 

When?
December 4-6, 2024, with a break-the-ice dinner on December 3.

Where?

German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg

 

Eligibility:

You should be at least in the second year of your PhD or MD students with experimental project and willing to present your project and sharing your expertise with your fellow students and experts. You will receive advice from leading experts in the field and your fellow students. Experts will be present throughout the workshop and will give lectures on their own work in addition to sharing their expertise with you.

The workshop offers in addition ample opportunity of networking and will start with a get-together on December 3rd. Besides a training in a relaxed atmosphere, we plan a guided tour of the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg – Focus on clinical translation of immunovirotherapy in Heidelberg with the social program including networking dinner, tour of Heidelberg and visit of the Christmas market.


Since we can offer only a limited number of places, please apply by 5 November by sending an
abstract to our office reporting on your project and a short letter stating why you would like to join us in Heidelberg for
the second DG-GT e.V. Academy.
